Welcome to my blog! I’m someone with a wide range of interests, and this space is where I bring them all together. From social behavior and psychology to history, I’ve always been curious about what shapes the world around us. Growing up in the Netherlands, I developed a love for reading early on. My mother would pick me up during lunch breaks to visit the library, and I’d return home with a stack of books that I’d devour in a week. Those library trips were some of the best days of my childhood, and they sparked a lifelong passion for books.
This blog is an extension of that passion. As I’ve grown, my interests have expanded, especially in the areas of history, social sciences, and human behavior. I’ve completed two bachelor’s degrees—one in Public Administration and the other in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences—and now I’m pursuing a master’s in Crisis and Security Management. Each of these experiences has deepened my curiosity about the world and my desire to understand how societies work and change.
While I have a broad range of topics I’m passionate about, books are at the heart of everything I do. I love reading almost any genre, but if I had to pick a few favorites, they’d be thrillers, cozy mysteries, dystopian novels, and non-fiction books on social history.
